The complex color scheme embraces ten lush hues, from dark blue, red, rose and citron yellow to a stunning robin’s egg blue that enlivens the design. The inspiration of these lovely blues imbue the Nourison interpretation with its special beauty. As with the original, the design is brimming with large blossoms, with spaces in between filled with smaller flowering plants. Finished with a narrow border of tiny rosettes, with a fresh color scheme of predominantly blues and citron, the overall effect of this delightful rug is of an informal courtyard garden filling the home with flowers and light. Nourison’s proprietary dye and wash techniques lend a quality of antique patination.
